New Houses in the Village

Description

Author: Dzhunusov, Marat. 1947-1999
A landscape depicting a rural yard in the transitional season - melting snow, puddles, whitewashed houses with sloping roofs, with new buildings visible in the background. In the foreground is a blue tractor with a trailer; by the fence, the figure of an animal. The sky is heavy, leaden-grey, contrasting with the light-colored walls of the buildings. The brushwork is dense and confident, with a lively, sketch-like immediacy. Bottom right - signature and date.
