A genre composition in vertical format. A woman in a white headscarf and a light shirt leans over a round table, shaping with her hands the round white slabs of dough that lie upon it. Below is a ram’s head on a round dish. Behind her cascades a bright patterned fabric with a rhythm of round ornamental motifs in a greenish-yellow range. The colouring is built on the contrast between the warm red-ochre table and the cooler green background, with white accents of the dough and the headscarf. The manner of execution is decorative, textured and broadly impressionistic. Lower right - signature.
