A still life depicting pumpkins arranged in an interior near a window. The rounded forms of the fruits with striped green and orange colouring create an expressive rhythm and compositional unity. Soft light emphasizes the volume of the objects and enhances the decorative richness of the still life. The colouristic solution is based on a combination of warm tones. The painterly manner conveys the materiality of the objects and the vividness of the plein-air impression. In the upper left corner is the signature and date.
