In the centre are people in traditional clothing and a man draped in a military coat, gathered near a yurt. The space unfolds through distant hills and a dramatic sunset sky filled with dense clouds and golden-red reflections of light. The painterly manner is free, featuring soft modelling of the figures and an expressive treatment of the sky.
