“Medal for the Development of Virgin Lands”

Description
On the front side of the medal, there is an image of a self-propelled combine harvester during the harvest and an elevator against the backdrop of fields, with the inscription “for the development of virgin lands” in three lines at the bottom. On the reverse side of the medal: at the bottom, there are a sickle and hammer with sun rays, at the top – a five-pointed star, on the left – a wheat ear, and on the right – corn cobs. All inscriptions and images on the medal are raised. The front and back sides of the medal are framed with a convex edge. A pentagonal base serves to attach the medal to clothing. The leg on one side has a pentagonal shape, oriented downwards. In the lower corner of the plate, there is a shaped cutout for attaching the medal to the leg. On the reverse side of the plate, there is a pin device for fastening to clothing. The width of the leg is 24 mm, covered with a stiff silk ribbon, along the edges of which two longitudinal yellow stripes run on a dark green background.

Stained, with spots, a dirty ribbon.
