The medal features a portrait of General of the Army Nurgambetov Sagadat Kozhakhmetovich - the first Minister of Defense of independent Kazakhstan and Hero of the Soviet Union. The ribbon of the medal is made in blue with red and yellow stripes. Khasenov T.B. was awarded the anniversary medal on May 31, 2017, by the decision of the Fund Council.
