Description

Found at the Miyaly kurgans (AE ARMLL Expedition), 2017.
Dating: 3rd century BC - 2nd century AD
The ornament consists of two small cylinders connected by a thin wire, with a pearl set in the center. On the upper part of each cylinder, within a hollow circle, a zoomorphic figure is attached. In the lower part, three small thin discoid plates are fastened with chains.
Material: gold (purity 91%)
Technique: casting, stamping.
Dimensions: cylinder length 0.6-0.9 cm; length of zoomorphic figure 1.3 cm; chain length 0.9 cm; diameter of small round pendant 0.4 cm.
Weight: 3.54 g.
