Multicolored Decorated Bowl “Tostagan”

Description

Location of detection: MVAE, Saraishyk, 1976.
Dating: XIV-XV centuries.
The outer surface is decorated with stylized black, green, and blue floral motifs. The inner surface features a floral pattern with dark blue petals framed by two green circular lines, between which an Arabic inscription is written. The bowl has a round base. Made on a potter’s wheel, such glazed red clay vessels were used as tableware in everyday life.
Technique: molding, firing, heating.
Dimensions: 11 × 15 cm.
