Description

Medal “Georgy Zhukov. 1896-1996” by Sedenikov L.E. The medal is round in shape. On the obverse side, against a matte background, there is a raised relief bust of Marshal of the USSR K.G. Zhukov. Along the edge, at the bottom, there are laurel and oak branches, and at the top, the inscription “GEORGY ZHUKOV.” A metal pentagonal mounting, covered with a red moire ribbon, is attached by a loop and ring; along one edge, there is an alternating pattern of longitudinal orange and black stripes. On the reverse side of the mounting, there is a pin fastening.
