Medal “Partisan of the Patriotic War”

Description

L.E. Sedelnikov’s Medal “To a Partisan of the Patriotic War”. The medal is round-shaped. On the front side, there are profile images of V.I. Lenin and I.V. Stalin. The edge of the medal is bordered with carved ribbon. At the bottom of the ribbon, the letters ‘USSR’ are inscribed, and at the center, there is a five-pointed star with a sickle and hammer. At the top of the ribbon, the inscription ‘FOR THE PARTISAN OF THE PATRIOTIC WAR’ appears, with small five-pointed stars before and after the inscription. On the reverse of the medal, there is a three-row relief inscription ‘FOR OUR SOVIET HOMELAND’ with a sickle and hammer above it. All inscriptions and images are embossed. At the top of the medal, there is a ring through which the medal is attached to a pentagonal metal mount covered with a light green moire ribbon. In the center of the ribbon, there is a thin blue stripe. The back of the ribbon has a pin attachment.
