Medal “Fifty Years of the Armed Forces of the USSR”

Description

L.E. Sedelnikov’s Medal “50 Years of the Armed Forces of the USSR”. The medal is circular in shape, surrounded by a raised rim. All inscriptions and images on the medal are embossed. The medal is attached to a pentagonal base via a hook and ring. The base is covered with silk moire ribbon, the ribbon is blue and has a white stripe running through its center, with red and white stripes alongside it. On the front of the medal is depicted a five-pointed star covered in red enamel. In the center of the star is the sculptural image of two soldiers of the Red Army - one in a cap and the other in a helmet - presented in a profile view. The edge of the circle has the anniversary years
