Helmet (Dulğa)

Description

Protective military headgear, part of armor. Used until the beginning of the 18th century. Cone-shaped copper helmets with a felt lining are characteristic of Central Asia. The helmet is cone-shaped, made of white metal. A wide strip-arrow is attached to the helmet that drops down in battle to protect the face from lateral strikes. It has protective plates on the sides.
