Description

Starling specimen - a taxidermy exhibit prepared for educational and display purposes, preserving the external morphological features of the bird in their natural form. The specimen depicts the bird in a natural position, perched on a branch. The body is medium-sized and compact, with the head directed forward and a short neck. The beak is long, pointed, and yellow. A yellow area of bare skin is visible around the eyes. The legs are yellowish, with long toes ending in sharp claws.
The specimen is mounted on a base imitating a tree branch. The bird is shown in a natural perching position, firmly gripping the branch with its feet. The composition is intended to provide a visual representation of the bird’s external structure, body form, plumage, and leg features.
