Bust

Description

A decorative sculptural bust depicting the image of the prominent Kazakh poet Sara Tastanbekkyzy. The bust is made of white glossy ceramic (porcelain). The composition depicts the head, shoulders, and upper torso. The head is adorned with a decorative element resembling a traditional Kazakh national headdress, with a silver-colored ornament placed at its upper part. The collar and front of the garment are decorated with reddish-brown floral motifs. The sleeves and shoulder areas are embellished in light blue, yellowish, and purple tones. The face has a calm expression, with the head slightly tilted downward. The sculpture is mounted on a rectangular stepped pedestal. The front of the pedestal bears the inscription “Akyn Sara”.
