Boots

Description

The exhibit is a pair of women’s boots belonging to Fatima Gabitova, made of natural black leather. The boots are preserved as a pair. They have a high-cut design with rounded toes. The upper part is secured with lacing threaded through holes fitted with metal eyelets. Decorative stitching is present on the front and lower sections. The leather surface shows signs of wear, scratches, and partial fading resulting from use. The boots were made using traditional leatherworking techniques, including leather processing, cutting, stitching, punching, and lacing.
