Description

A three-page letter from N. Aldabergenov, a member of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Kazakh SSR and Chairman of the Stalin Collective Farm, to S. Polymbetov, Chairman of the Alma-Ata Council of National Economy. The letter requests state support for developing the farm’s social and cultural infrastructure. Aldabergenov describes housing and schools built with collective farm funds and plans to construct a cultural center, stadium, children’s home, boarding school, and housing for teachers. He asks that these projects be included in the 1958 plan, receive state funding, and be provided with qualified contractors.
