Alongside the genealogy of Begay’s descendants, the book recounts the history of warriors, judges (biys), spiritual leaders (akhuns and ishans), and cultural figures who emerged from the Begay lineage from the second half of the 17th century to the early 20th century. It also provides brief biographies of public figures, as well as representatives of science and the arts, who contributed to the country’s development.
