“Mother Umai is the goddess of fertility and abundance among ancient peoples. Evidence suggests that matriarchy prevailed in society during the Stone Age.
Found in the Alakol district of the Zhetisu region.
This archaeological find, dating back to the Neolithic period of the Stone Age, resembles the sole of a high-heeled shoe. It is made by carving, grinding, and polishing stone. The sole is smooth and flat. According to scientists, the sculpture represents a newborn woman.
