Description

The vessel (Shogen).A traditional household vessel in the shape of a jug, made of yellow copper. It was mainly used for pouring, carrying and storing water, koumiss, milk or other liquids. On the two opposite sides of the vessel there are two handles, the parts of which, designed to hold, are made of wood.The upper edge of the neck protrudes outwards by 1 cm, then through 2 cm of indentation there is a concave part 1.5 cm deep. The lid is missing.The inner diameter of the neck is 24.5 cm, the inner depth is 27 cm, and the total height is 27.5 cm. 19th century.
