Suitcase

Description

A chest (suitcase) of rectangular shape, designed to be carried by hand. The upper and front sides are decorated with geometric and floral ornaments in a traditional national style. The edges are reinforced with metal strips, providing the item with durability and resistance to prolonged transportation. A metal lock and handle are fitted on the front. The lid opens upward. The ornaments are symmetrical and carefully applied by hand. This chest belonged to the poet Ilyas Zhansugurov.
