Description

Paper currency note with a denomination of 1 ruble, issued by the State Bank of the USSR. It was in circulation from January 1, 1961, to November 15, 1993. The obverse features the emblem of the USSR and the denomination, decorated with ornamentation and protective patterns. The primary color of the banknote is greenish-brown. On the reverse, the denomination is displayed in the center and written out in the languages of the 15 union republics, complemented by decorative frames. It contains protective designs made of multiple fine lines and watermarks.
