Description
A horn flask used by healers and surgeons for bloodletting and during operations. Made from the horn of large cattle. Two centimeters of the outer layer are cut off from the pointed end, and a hole is pierced through the lower layer’s end. A small wooden stopper with a rounded end and a hole is fitted, attached to a strap. The other end of the strap is fastened to a notch around the horn. The flask measures 10 cm in length, with a mouth diameter of 4 cm.
