Description
A round button made of 925 sterling silver. The obverse is decorated with a raised vegetal ornament consisting of a stylized floral motif with symmetrically arranged petals and a central circular element. The edge is framed by a neat decorative toothed border, emphasizing the circular form of the object. A metal loop for attachment to clothing is securely fixed on the reverse. The button was manufactured using stamping, impression, and edge-cutting techniques. The object is in good condition: the metal is stable, the ornamental relief remains clearly defined, and there are no visible signs of oxidation or deformation. It has historical and artistic significance as an example of nineteenth-century jewelry craftsmanship and decorative costume elements.
