Description
A multi-row medal ribbon bar mounted on a rigid rectangular metal base. The bar consists of eight sections of moiré silk ribbons arranged in several rows to form a unified composition. The ribbons display colors characteristic of the Soviet state and military award system; precise identification of individual awards by ribbon colors requires comparison with officially established award patterns. A standard fastening device for attachment to uniform clothing is preserved on the reverse. The object was manufactured in the USSR circa 1955 by industrial production. It belonged to T. Bekbauliyev and represents a historical and phaleristic source documenting Soviet award culture and the practice of wearing award ribbons.
