Description
The national men’s costume is a set of clothing incorporating elements of traditional Kazakh dress. The garments are made of pink makpal fabric and decorated with stitching in shiny thread, creating a distinctive decorative effect. The ensemble consists of trousers, a beshpen jacket, and a traditional skullcap, tübeteika. The individual garments form a unified color and decorative composition. The costume was manufactured in a factory in 1990. The object represents an example of Kazakh men’s national clothing of the late 20th century, combining traditional forms with industrial production.
