This artifact is a handwritten autobiography prepared by Suleimen Karabalin in 1946. The document consists of a single sheet bearing the handwritten title “Autobiography” at the top and the author’s signature at the bottom. It records his date and place of birth, family background, including the repression of his father in 1937, education, and professional career. The text describes his studies at Zhambyl Secondary School, teacher-training courses, graduation from the Guryev Pedagogical College, employment as a teacher, vice principal, and principal of the M. Y. Lermontov Secondary School in Koshchagyl, as well as his admission to the Ural Pedagogical Institute and membership in the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks). The manuscript is a valuable personal historical document reflecting the development of public education and the biography of a Kazakh educator in the post-war period.
