Description

A fragment of a mammoth (Mammuthus) molar tooth. A paleontological specimen of Pleistocene age. The tooth is characterized by a lamellar structure typical of large proboscideans and consists of six enamel plates. The morphological features reflect the adaptation of mammoths to their dietary habits.
