Description

Sandstone containing remnants of brachiopod shells of the genus Plaesiomus. The rock belongs to marine sedimentary formations of Paleozoic age, formed under the conditions of an ancient marine basin. The sample was discovered in the area of the Dulygaly-Zhylanshyq River, in the Ulytau region, near the border with the former Turgai region.
