Description

Sample of native copper. The sample was presented by electrician Bogdan from the Akchinskoe quarry at the annual competition “Best Sample of Mineral Resources,” timed to coincide with Geologist’s Day. The specimen was discovered in the winter of 1987 and later transferred to the museum’s fund for scientific and educational preservation. Native copper is a unique geological specimen that characterizes the processes of natural mineral formation in the Zhezkazgan region.
