Description
Könek – consists of three main parts: the body, the spout, and the base. The body is made from a single rectangular piece of leather. The lower edge of the body is folded inward by approximately three finger-widths around the entire circumference, after which the base is carefully stitched, forming the vessel’s upright, rounded shape. The artifact was made in Kazakhstan.
