Description

A fragment of a rectangular box-shaped object. The front of the box features incised carvings of an elephant with a saddle and a lion with a mane, facing each other. The elephant’s face is depicted in profile, while the lion’s is shown full-face. The four side walls are decorated with incised swirls. A soldered-in element, presumably used to secure the lid, or the box itself served as a lid.
