Description
A red clay bowl (piyala) of conical shape on a disc-shaped base. The piece is wheel-thrown. The rim is straight with thickened edges, slightly turned outward, and has a flattened-oval cross-section. It is covered with a light engobe and light green glaze. On the inner walls, rim, and base, there is preserved underglaze plant-style ornamentation and dot-like inclusions in green and brown, depicting grapevines.
