Jewelry Storage Box

Description

A tetrahedral, rectangular box made of dark stained wood with a hinged lid. In the center of the lid there is a white jade insert carved with a floral pattern, surrounded by metal figures of bats. The box has metal plates of various configurations with engraved designs. Date: ХХth century. Technique: carving, toning, ingraving. Received: from E.V. Kucheryavtsev in 1984.
