Medal

Description

On the obverse of the medal is a chest relief image of Zhukov. In the upper part there is a relief inscription “Georgy Zhukov”, in the lower part there is a relief image of laurel and oak branches. On the reverse side of the medal in the center are the embossed numbers “1896-1996”. Below is a relief image of laurel and oak branches. The edges of the medal have a side. The medal is connected by means of an eyelet and a ring to a pentagonal block covered with a silk moire ribbon. The width of the tape is 24 mm. The left half of the ribbon is red. On the right half of the ribbon there are five longitudinal alternating stripes of equal width (2 mm): three black and two orange, with one narrow orange stripe 1 mm wide at the edges.
Size: diameter - 3.2 cm, length with pad – 8.5 cm.
