Description
This is a traditional leather vessel - torsyk, used in the nomadic lifestyle of the Kazakh people. Its primary function is to store and carry beverages such as kumis, shubat, and water. The neck is narrow and closed with a special stopper. It is equipped with a leather strap for easy attachment to a saddle, belt, or hanging inside a yurt. Made from processed animal hide. The leather is tanned and shaped using a mold, then sewn. Traditional Kazakh ornaments are hand-carved and embossed on the surface. The bottom is slightly reinforced with stitching to maintain its shape.
