Piano

Description

This instrument was used by composer Mukan Tolebaev in the 1950s during his tenure as director of the Abai State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. The upper front panel is decorated with an image of a fountain and two birds. The piano features two handles and two pedals. It is a valuable exhibit closely linked to the history of Kazakh musical culture.
