Description

“1941-1945. The Great Patriotic War. Forty years to victory.” Diameter 32 mm, round copper medal, on the front side of which are depicted a five-pointed star, laurel branches, and a soldier, a worker, and a collective farm worker against the backdrop of fireworks, as well as a composition featuring the Spasskaya Tower of the Moscow Kremlin, with the inscriptions “1945” and “1985.” On the outer edge of the medal, around the top, it reads “PARTICIPANT OF THE WAR,” in the center – “40 years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945,” and at the bottom, there are a hammer and sickle on a ribbon. All inscriptions and images are embossed, the edges are framed with a rim, and through the loop and ring, a satin moire ribbon is threaded.
