Medal

Description

The commemorative medal “65th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945” is circular in shape, made of brass, and measures 32 mm in diameter. The obverse features the image of the Order of Glory, First Class. In the central part of the order is the embossed inscription “SLAVA.” Between the lower rays of the star is the inscription “1945-2010.” The edge of the medal is bordered by a raised rim. The medal is mounted on a pentagonal suspension covered with a 24 mm-wide moiré ribbon. The edges of the ribbon are decorated with 5 mm-wide red stripes. The reverse side of the suspension is fitted with a fastening pin for attachment to clothing. The reverse of the medal bears the embossed inscription: “65th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945.”
