Shokpar

Description

Shokpar - one of the traditional weapons of the Kazakh people, as well as a household tool. It was made from solid wood, with the upper part crafted thicker and heavier. The handle of the shokpar shown in the photo is decorated with a spiral ornament, while the upper part is studded with metal nails, which added decorative value and enhanced the striking power. For convenient use, the handle is wrapped in leather.
