Leather Belt

Description

The Kise belt is a traditional Kazakh military and household accessory. A decorative pouch with a kise was attached to the right side of the belt. The kise was used to store small items such as flint, awl, tweezers, toothpick, lancet, and other tools. The belt also included a knife in a sheath, a horn powder flask, and a container for storing ammunition. The belt is 140 cm long and 2.3 cm wide. Its surface is decorated with embossed metal plates. The fastening system allows the belt length to be adjusted according to the wearer’s waist size.
