Galimov Manap’s dombra

Description

The dombra is a traditional Kazakh two-string plucked musical instrument. This example belonged to Manap Galimov, a teacher and head of the cultural department. The instrument bears a commemorative inscription: “Congratulations on the silver anniversary of Manap and Zerip,” dated May 28, 1988, from the district cultural department. It was used in cultural and social activities.
