Description
A mortar is a pot-shaped, red clay vessel. The body is spherical, swollen at the top, tapering towards the bottom in the form of a leg on a rounded base. Hand molding. The outer walls are covered with red engobe. The rim is faceted, not pronounced. A hatched, slanted pattern is applied along the convex horizontal part of the body and leg.
