Heel from lamp

Description

A fragment of a lamp heel, made from well-kneaded, dense red dough with traces of fine sand particles. The fragment’s surface is covered with a light engobe, over which a layer of transparent, light-green glaze was applied. The surface of the piece features underglaze decoration in the form of a stamp, depicting a six-pointed star within a circle with swirls around its edges.
