Description

Rifle - TO3 brand, manufactured in 1853-1854. This is a muzzle-loading, single-barrel firearm. The barrel has a diameter of 20 mm and a smooth, non-rifled interior. It is attached to a handmade wooden stock using one bolt and three copper rings, with lugs (loops) at both ends.
The trigger mechanism is of the “sobachka” type, made of metal, and fastened inside the stock with three screws. The back of the stock is reinforced with a copper plate, each part secured with two bolts. On the trigger guard and the second barrel ring, there are metal loops for attaching a leather sling. Such rifles were the standard weapons of the Russian Imperial Army from the mid-19th to the early 20th century.
