Description

Country: India. A wooden cylinder decorated on the outside with horizontal ribbing, at the top and bottom of the cylinder are metal bands adorned with an ornament of checkered diamonds and raised dots. The body is divided into four sections by vertical metal strips decorated with elongated leaves and plaques, each containing an elephant, a crescent moon, and birds with small rings.
