It consists of two inkwells and a paper holder located on a rectangular stand. There are notches for the pen. The paper holder is made in the shape of a lyre. The instrument has four decorative legs. The inscription “ЛО/1896 (84)” is engraved on the back of the instrument. On the back wall there is an inscription “НТ 84”. A similar inscription is on the inside of the inkwell cover.
