Medal

Description

The medal “30 Years of the International Anti-Nuclear Movement Semipalatinsk-Nevada,” awarded to O. Suleimenov. The obverse features an engraving of a person looking at a Native American holding a peace pipe, with the inscription “1989-2019” engraved below. On the reverse, along the edge, it reads: “International Day Against Nuclear Tests,” while the center bears the inscription “Think broadly, act locally!” The medal is covered with a pentagonal rigid ribbon, attached to the badge with a loop and ring. The center of the ribbon has stripes of red, flanked by blue on both sides.
