Banknote with a denomination of 5 tenge, issued in 1993.
The front side of the banknote is brown. On the right side is a portrait of the folk composer Kurmangazy Sagyrbayuly. His name and years of life are written vertically in brown ink. A Kazakh national ornament is located at the bottom left of the portrait. An ornamental design is placed beneath the denomination in the lower-left corner.
The reverse side of the banknote is orange-red, with a mausoleum complex depicted in the center.
