Description

Кerme - right side of bag. Background of claret color, right side consists of central field and range of borders. On central field placed stylized geometrical ornament of red, dark blue and white colors divided by red narrow stripes. Borders are filled with stylized zoomorphic patterns separated from each other by ornaments “tis”, “alamoshak”, “alakurt”, “irek”. On each side sewn strip bound from yarn of red and dark blue colors. In the top part loops. Bottom decorated with long hanging down tassels and fringe. From underside on length sewn by narrow strip from sacking. Woolen threads, pile weaving. 137х43 сm, fringe – 55 сm. Acquired from Zubairash Tursunbaeva in 1984. Almaty region, Uzynagash station.
