Description
The artwork is dedicated to the heroism of the soldiers of the legendary 316th Rifle Division – the Panfilov Guards – shown during the Battle of Moscow in the years of the Great Patriotic War. The composition is divided into three thematic parts. On the left, soldiers of the division are depicted with resolute and courageous expressions. In the center, a large sprawling tree symbolizes life and resilience, with doves soaring above it – a sign of peace and independence. On the right, a battle scene conveys the intensity and drama of combat. The work is executed in the etching technique, which gives it depth, graphic expressiveness, and historical richness. The artist skillfully combines the themes of heroism, memory, and the aspiration for peace.
